Each year Halifax RLFC receive hundreds of requests for signed shirts, balls and match tickets for charitable purposes. The club strives to donate as much as possible to such causes but have set certain guidelines that must be adhered to if an individual or organisation wishes to be considered.

Charity Request Guidelines

Halifax RLFC will only offer support to individuals, groups or organisations that share it's charitable objectives, which are:

• To promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities or equipment for rugby league or other sporting activities.
• To provide and assist in providing facilities or equipment for sport, recreation or other leisure activities that will help people who need it (Youth, Disability, Age, Social etc)
• To advance in the education of young people through such means that the club seems fit.

(The club will not provide prizes to organizations or individuals who aim is to pay/provide end of season prizes)

Items Provided By Club

Each month the club will provide the following items for all requests it receives:

• 10 x Family Tickets (for south stand)
• 1 x signed replica shirt
• 1 x signed ball

Charity Request Procedure

1. Download Request form HERE
2. Fully complete and sign form (read guidelines carefully)
3. Send completed form back to the club
4. Please allow 28 days between the time of your application and your potential fund raising event or activity.

Halifax RLFC receives a great deal of requests for players to attend functions, events and award ceremonies. The club will try and provide as many player appearances as possible, but will only consider organisations or groups that adhere to the following guidelines.

Please make sure you have read the following guidelines before any form is filled out:

Player Appearance Guidelines

• The club will not authorise any player appearance the evening before or the day of a match day
• Players can only be in attendance for a maximum of 2 hours
• Details of what is required of the player needs to be agreed before hand by the club
• Players can not be expected to participate in activities that may be deemed detrimental to any training regime
• Any Appearance may be cancelled due to any change of fixture, training session or club event
• A full contact must be given to the club that will be the main point of contact for the player on the day of the event
• Any player should be looked after by the organisation in an appropriate manner (no abusive language/behaviour)
• Please note that Halifax RLFC are a part time club and therefore train in the evenings, limiting the requests we can fulfil

4. Any Player Appearance Request must be made 28 days before the potential event
