Blackpool Nines

Story in brief:

The Supporters Trust are organising a bus to take fans to support Fax at the Blackpool 9s on Sat 17th July at Fylde Rugby Union Club. For anyone who did not go last year it really is an enjoyable day out.

There are 18 teams taking part and this year the whole 9s comp takes place on the one day .The first game kicks off at 10am and the final is at 6-30pm you are guaranteed to see Fax play at least 3 times then the finals (which we should make surely) All matches are aprox 25 mins in total .

The bus will leave the Shay at 7-45am and return from Blackpool at aprox 7-15 pm to 7-30pm and the cost is £10 for the coach and  nines tickets are £9 per adult.( child /concession tickets are £5 )

It's a very informal atmosphere and all the teams mix together with the fans the food at the ground was not too expensive either. So its great to be able to chat to players, get autographs  etc
